We believe it is possible to be environmentally friendly while maintaining maximum comfort for your stay. Therefore we have strived to consider the environmental impact of our project and have observed sustainable practices where possible.
These include the use of small local businesses and tradesmen, carefully selected local materials, natural based products rather than chemicals, lime based paints and natural pigments from the local area and wood fibre and cork insulation. Original materials from the house have been re-used wherever possible.
The property has an under-floor heating and hot water system that will be run by solar power in the summer and from our fireplace in the winter months.
